What is Ekcetera?
We get asked that a lot. Creative Design is the basis behind everything we do. Specializing primarily in graphic and web design, marketing & social media, we’re always interested in a project that pushes trends, challenges us, and helps a client learn something new. Design should be an artful, but organized process. That’s why we’re focused not only on making your design the best it can be, but also in making the process as painless and seamless for you as possible. We want to break the stereo-type of working with creatives that are difficult and living in their own artsy world. We also like to have fun.
We pride ourselves in tackling many areas of creativity. We’re brave when it comes to trying something new! We offer hands-on solutions for those wanting to be involved in the creative process as well as full-service options to make your life easier.
Ekcetera is different from most creative companies because of our unique philosophies about business and the way design happens. Our scope of offerings spans several markets, but focuses around finding the best creative solution for your unique set of needs. Every client at Ekcetera receives personal attention; we go out of our way to create the best project we can. You’ll always find us using the industry standard in software and technology, and we’re always searching for and developing new and unique ideas.
To provide quality design and business practices founded on Christian values in a knowledgable, fun, and friendly environment.
As a family-owned business, we value relationships and the importance of family balance in the workplace.
Kelly Garrett, MBA
Kelly founded Ekcetera Productions in 2003. She’s discovered in herself an unusual combination of the tolerance of ambiguity that creativity provides while thoroughly enjoying the rigid details of running a business.
After growing up in Fargo, ND, Kelly attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2003. Her major was information systems and she had a minor in music.
Shortly after graduating from UND, Kelly jumped into graduate school and received her Master of Business Administration degree from the University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis, MN in 2006. During her graduate study, she aggressively worked on establishing Ekcetera’s foundation. She currently serves on the Board of Directors at the River Heights Chamber of Commerce.
Kelly is very active in her church community, enjoys music, photography, ballroom dancing, interior design, travel, and especially time with her family. She lives with her husband and two children in Inver Grove Heights, MN.
